Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival
This year will mark the 9th Annual Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival on October 11, 2009. The Festival continues to grow over the years, and is expecting 20,000 runners to participate in the various running events to be held in 2009, including the Under Armour Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Half-Marathon, Legg Mason Team Relay, the United Way 5k, and the Kid’s Fun Run. Not only is the Baltimore Running Festival growing to be one of Baltimore’s largest events, bringing in an estimated $75 million into the local economy, but it has also raised more than $4 million for charity.
Aquafina, in its second year as the official water for the Baltimore Running Festival, will again provide water to all eco volunteers and participants, as well as managing the event’s Finishline Festival’s recycling collection program.
